Why Do I Want to Be a Creative Writing Professor?Personally, I want to be a college professor because I enjoy my Writing classes I have now in college, and I would love to teach my own class some day.
I have always loved writing and I have always done very well with it. I'm sure with guidance and perseverance I could achieve these goals. A Day in the Life of a College Professor A college professor's day could go a variety of different ways. They could have a few classes in a row, one right after another, or they could be spread out throughout the day to allow a creative outlook and relaxation between classes.
A Creative Writing professor's classes are designed to engage their students to think critically and explore their minds for creative assets. The Professor acts as a bridge between the student and the material. It is up to the Professor to guide the student into thought, and the student's job is to convey that thought through their own mind, thus creating their own story.
